Max Barry Visitation, Memorial Set

A visitation for the son of Nashville mayor Megan Barry will be Monday with a memorial Tuesday.

NASHVILLE, TN – A visitation and a memorial service are scheduled for Max Barry, the 22-year-old son of Nashville Mayor Megan Barry and her husband Bruce, who died from an apparent overdose outside Denver Saturday evening.

Visitation for Max Barry will be Monday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music. The memorial service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Belcourt Theatre. Barry will not be available for interviews until further notice, according to the mayor's office.

The mayor's office said contributions in Max's memory can be made to the Oasis Center or Nashville Humane Association.
