Metro Nashville Schools Kindergarten Kick-Off Set For March 6-10

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Nashville Public Schools will begin taking registrations for 2017-18 kindergartners starting Monday, March 6 at any of the district's 11 enrollment centers.

A parent or legal guardian will need to visit the enrollment center and bring:

• A birth certificate or record of birth (the enrolling child will need to be 5 on or before August 15, 2017)
• Updated Tennessee Immunization Certificate from the child's doctor or a Metro Public Health Center
• Proof of a physical performed within one year of the child's enrollment
• Proof of Davidson County residency, such as a utility bill, lease, mortgage document or homeowners' policy
• Parent/Guardian photo ID

The 11 enrollment centers are:

• Global Mall, 5250 Hickory Hollow Parkway, Suite 257/258, Antioch, 37013
• Glencliff High School, 160 Antioch Pike, Nashville, 37211
• Hillsboro High School, 3812 Hillsboro Road, Nashville, 37215
• Hillwood High School, 400 Davidson Road, Nashville, 37205
• Hunters Lane High School, 1150 Hunters Lane, Nashville, 37207
• Maplewood High School, 401 Walton Lane, Nashville, 37216
• McGavock High School, 3150 McGavock Pike, Nashville, 37214
• Overton High School, 4820 Franklin Road, Nashville, 37220
• McKissack Middle Prep, 915 38th Avenue North, Nashville, 37209
• Stratford High School, 1800 Stratford Avenue, Nashville, 37216
• Whites Creek High School, 7277 Old Hickory Boulevard, Whites Creek, 37189
