Middle Tennessee Weather Forecast: Severe Storms Likely Thursday
A line of storms with the potential for hail, strong winds and tornadoes is likely to roll through the Midstate Thursday evening.
NASHVILLE, TN — The National Weather Service is alerting Middle Tennesseans for the potential of strong to severe storms Thursday afternoon.
A first, weaker line of storms will push into the area Thursday morning and while that line may bring hail and high winds, its main impact will be the way it effects the later line. Essentially, the NWS says, the slower the first system, the weaker the second; however, forecasters believe the morning storms will move quickly enough to set up for a potentially dangerous event during rush hour Thursday afternoon.
