More Than A Third Of Nashville 7th Graders Haven't Proved Immunization

Metro Nashville Public Schools say after a week of classes, more than a third of seventh-graders need to show they have their shots.

NASHVILLE, TN — Class has been in session for a week for Metro Nashville Public Schools students and, still, more than a third of the district's seventh-graders have yet to provide proof of immunization.

The district said more than 1,700 students have not proved compliance, a little more than 33 percent. Students must show proof by Wednesday or they won't be allowed back in school until they do.
