Nashville Deja Vu Stabbing Injures 1

Metro Police arrested one man following a knifing at the long-running Demonbreun strip club and are looking for a woman who may be involved.

NASHVILLE, TN — A stabbing outside popular, long-running Demonbreun Street strip club Deja Vu seriously injured a 30-year-old man early Saturday morning.

Metro Police were called to the club around 5 a.m. to find a man stabbed several times in the torso. He was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center with critical injuries.

Jerald Sanford, 26, was arrested shortly thereafter after he fled when police arrived. Sanford ran and then drove away when officers came on scene, police say, before abandoning his car at Charles Davis Boulevard and Cannon Street. He then tried to flee on foot but was apprehended and is being interviewed by detectives.

Police are also trying to identify a woman who is a person of interest. A motive is still undetermined.
