Nashville Detective Finds Deadly Shooting Scene
One man was dead and another critically injured in a shooting at North Nashville public housing complex Saturday.

NASHVILLE, TN — A Metro detective driving through North Nashville Saturday morning heard gunshots and then was flagged down and directed to a shooting scene at the Cumberland View public housing complex, where he found two men laying in a breezeway. One of the men, 26-year-old Jonathan Cheers, was dead on the scene.
A second man, 23-year-old Treon Bright is in critical but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Witnesses told the detective Cheers and Bright were talking when they were approached by a third man, who began shooting and fled on foot.
