Nashville Detectives Investigating Circumstances Surrounding Fatal Shooting Of Tre'Von Holloway

Homicide Unit detectives are investigating Tuesday’s fatal shooting of Tre’Von Holloway, 22, during an apparent exchange of gunfire at the Hickory Highlands Apartments, 100 Hickory Highlands Drive.

Responding South Precinct officers located Holloway in a breezeway with a gunshot wound to his chest. A handgun was recovered from Holloway. He was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.

A second shooting victim, Christopher Gulley, 27, who lives at the apartment complex, sustained serious/non-life threatening injuries.

The investigation continues into what led up to the gunfire. Holloway and Gulley were reportedly meeting with other occupants of a dark gray SUV in the parking lot when the shooting occurred.
