Nashville Detectives Pursuing Active Leads In Fatal Shooting At Alameda Street Apartment
The victim has been identified as Quiondre Charles Benson, 23.

Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing active leads in the early morning fatal shooting of Quiondre Charles Benson, 23, inside an apartment in the 4000 block of Alameda Street.

The investigation, being led by Detective Arthur Hipp, shows that Benson was at the apartment visiting a female friend when, according to the woman, an unknown male forced his way into the apartment, struck her in the face, shot Benson and fled. Benson died shortly after arriving at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
