Nashville Detectives Seek Public's Assistance In Identifying Serial Robbery Suspect

The hold-ups took place from Feb. 5-10.

South and East Precinct detectives are working to identify a serial robbery suspect who took multiple packages of cigarettes during each of the following hold-ups:

• Walgreens, 1301 Bell Road, on February 5,

• Mapco, 4126 Gallatin Pike, on February 7,

• Mapco, 2601 Murfreesboro Pike, on February 9,

• Mapco, 5040 Nolensville Pike, on February 10.

The suspect is a black man who appears to be in his 40s. He is bald or has very short hair. He is approximately 5’8” tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He indicated that he had a gun in the three South Nashville robberies, although none was seen. In the East Nashville Mapco hold-up on Gallatin Pike, he was armed with a knife. He fled the robberies in an older model gold SUV, possibly a Ford Escape.
