Madison Precinct detectives are working to identify the gunman who Friday at 8:20 p.m. fired shots from a vehicle that fatally wounded 14-year-old Paul T. Steele at the intersection of Brookway Drive at Westchester Drive.

Steele was standing in a yard when the suspect car, a dark blue Honda Civic, drove by and then turned around. The front seat passenger then fired shots toward Steele and another individual. Steele was transported by personal vehicle to Skyline Hospital Medical Center where he died.
