Nashville Detectives Working To Identify Man Who Robbed A Gallatin Pike Mapco On Sunday

The suspect allegedly demanded 30 packages of cigarettes while holding a knife, telling the clerk "don't try anything."

East Precinct detectives are working to identify the man who on Sunday at 4 p.m. robbed the Mapco, 4126 Gallatin Pike.

He entered the store and demanded 30 packages of Newport cigarettes while holding a knife, warning the clerk “don’t try anything”. He fled in a gold SUV, possibly a Ford Explorer.

The suspect is a black man who appears to be in his 40s. He is approximately 5’7” tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. He wore a dark tan baseball cap with a logo, faded black coat, blue jeans, and black Nike tennis shoes.
