Woman Killed In Joelton Wreck With Nashville Fire Department SUV

A 33-year-old Joelton woman was killed and a NFD District Chief was injured in a crash on White's Creek Pike.

JOELTON, TN — A 33-year-old woman was killed Monday morning after she crashed into a Nashville Fire Department district chief's Metro-issued SUV.

Metro Police say that Cassandra Wilson crossed the center line of White's Creek Pike in her 1997 Chevrolet Lumina around 8 a.m., hitting the 2003 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by NFD District Chief Lisa Weakley, who was on her way from her home in Ashland City to downtown for work.

Wilson was pronounced dead on the scene. Weakley is in serious but stable condition at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
