Nashville Has US's 23rd Worst Traffic: Report
Nashvillians spend an average of 33 hours stuck in traffic, according to INRIX.

NASHVILLE, TN — The average Nashvillian spends 33.6 hours stuck in traffic every year, according to a new study.
A study by INRIX places Nashville's congestion as the 23rd worst in the country, up from 45th in the company's 2015 study. Congestion costs the average driver in Nashville $1,308 every year.
While that congestion time is fairly average for an American city of Nashville's size, as a percentage of total commute time, Nashville's commute is worst than most. Twenty percent of rush-hour drive-time is spent in congestion, according to the study, one of the highest rates in the country.
