Nashville Investigators Working To Identify Hit & Run Driver

The pedestrian struck and killed Thursday night by a hit and run driver on Nolensville Pike near Thompson Lane is identified as Ruben Hernandez Aguilar, 31.

Aguilar, who was homeless, was crossing Nolensville Pike at 9:15 p.m. when he was struck by a northbound vehicle, possibly an orange Chevrolet Camaro. Aguilar was not in a crosswalk. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he died.
