Nashville K9 Officer Tracks Down Joyriding Teens: Police
K9 officer Turbo could not be bamboozled by a trio of teens who fled from the wrecked car they'd stolen, according to Nashville police.

NASHVILLE, TN — With help from a trusty K9 officer and a helicopter, Metro officers arrested three alleged joyriding teenagers Tuesday morning.
Investigators say the trio stole a Hyundai Elantra Monday from a delivery driver at Gallatin Pike and Seymour Avenue. Officers then saw the teens at 12th Avenue and Buchanan 10:30 Tuesday morning. A patrol car followed the Elantra into Germantown and the teens bailed out on Seventh Avenue. Unoccupied and out of control, the Hyundai rolled into a police car. Two of the teenagers were apprehended by officers right away, but the third got away.

The officers and the K9 called for air support and with help from the chopper pilot, K9 Officer Turbo found the last suspect hiding between two homes on Sixth Avenue.
All three teenagers are charged with auto theft and evading arrest and the driver has an additional charge of leaving the scene of an accident.
