Nashville Man Arrested After Hitting Roommate With Machete

NASHVILLE, TN — A fight between three roommates ended in arrest when one man was taken into custody, accused of punching one victim and hitting — but not stabbing or slashing — another with a machete.

Metro Police were called to reports of a domestic disturbance on Delaware Avenue around 7:40 Saturday evening and found the two victims, who said an argument escalated into violence, climaxing with the machete-bludgeoning and punching.

While the two victims were taken to the emergency room — neither their conditions nor names were released — police searched for the alleged attacker, who had fled on foot. He was eventually captured and arrested. His name was not immediately available, either.
