Troy Floyd, 32, was arrested on a grand jury indictment charging him with first-degree murder for the June 2019 fatal shooting of Aaron Washington, 31, in an alley near 23rd Avenue North and Formosa Street.

Investigation by North Precinct Detective Thomas Miller led to the identification of Floyd who allegedly shot Washington following an argument between the two men, who were acquaintances.
Floyd has previous drug possession convictions.
