Nashville Man Killed In Friday's Single-Vehicle Crash On Stewarts Ferry Pike

The man killed in Friday’s 8:30 a.m. single-vehicle crash on Stewarts Ferry Pike near Donelsonwood Drive is identified as Robert Osborne, 52, of Nashville.

The preliminary investigation shows that Osborne was driving his 2017 Chevrolet Equinox north on Stewarts Ferry Pike at a high rate of speed when he failed to negotiate a curve and left the roadway. Osborne was transported to Vanderbilt Medical Center where he died.

There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
