Nashville Man Kneecapped In Early Morning Robbery Bid
A man told police a man tried to rob him and then shot him in the knee on Lafayette late Tuesday.

NASHVILLE, TN — A man told police he was shot in the knee during an armed robbery while walking along Lafayette Street late Tuesday night.
The man told police he was walking from the Z Mart to the J.C. Napier Homes when a man tried to rob him. The victim ran away and the would-be robber fired a gun, hitting him in the leg. The victim is hospitalized at General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

He described the shooter as a 5'10" black men with dreadlocks wearing a black shirt and black pants.
