The girl's father told police he'd spoken to Torabi in recent weeks asking to stop and that during these conversations Torabi had threatened the girl and her family.

When police went to Torabi's Brentwood home, his bedroom door was locked, according to an arrest report. Before he opened it, officers said they could hear plastic breaking. Police found a new iPhone 7 broken in half and twisted, hidden under a bedspread, according to the affidavit.
