Nashville Man Wanted In April Shooting Of 2

Police believe a 34-year-old man shot and paralyzed a 28-year-old man and injured his stepson.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Nashville police need help finding a suspect in an April 17 shooting that paralyzed a man and injured his 11-year-old stepson.

Detectives believe Joseph Lorenzo Woodson, 34, shot the pair outside an apartment building at 341 Dellway Villa Road. (For more updates on this story and free news alerts for your neighborhood, sign up for your local Middle Tennessee Patch morning newsletter.)

Investigators believe Woodson fired only one shot, but that it hit both victims. The 28-year-old victim is paralyzed. The 11-year-old was injured but treated and released from the hospital.
