Nashville Murder Fugitive Arrested In Memphis
Berkley, a convicted armed robber, had a pistol and a stack of cash when he was stopped in Memphis on May 14.

Acting on information from Nashville’s U.S. Marshal’s Fugitive Task Force, deputy marshals in Memphis this afternoon apprehended Nashville murder suspect Aaron Berkley, 32, in connection with a 2010 fatal shooting.

Investigation by the MNPD’s Cold Case Unit led to Berkley’s indictment for killing Isaac Washington, 24, at Bavaria Apartments on Packard Drive in South Nashville on November 27, 2010. Washington and Berkley knew each other. Robbery is the suspected motive.
