Nashville Officers Investigate Critical Wounding Of Man Outside West Trinity Lane Market

The Homicide Unit is leading the investigation into Sunday 9:40 p.m. critical wounding of Chauncey D. Gray, 23, outside the Marathon market at 234 W. Trinity Lane. Gray suffered a wound to his neck and is hospitalized in life-threatening condition.

Gray, whose driver license lists a Memphis address, arrived at the market on foot and went inside. He left after several minutes and was confronted by a gunman who shot and robbed him. The gunman fled in a car. Active leads are being pursued.
