Nashville Pedicab Driver Sexually Assaulted By Drunken Fare: Police
A Mississippi man allegedly groped his pedicab driver on West End early Friday.
NASHVILLE, TN — A drunken Mississippi man groped his pedicab driver Friday, telling her it was OK because he wanted to "lick her all over," according to police.
The pedicab driver told police she picked up James Stoner, 28, of Holly Bluff, Miss., on West End and as she began to pedal her way westward, Stoner "started grabbing and squeezing her butt," according to a police report. The driver told Stoner to stop but he continued, saying "she was beautiful and that he wanted to lick her all over so it was OK for him to touch her." The driver called police, at which point Stoner finally stopped touching her.

When he realized she had called police, Stoner "jumped out of the pedicab and attempted to run away and not pay for the ride once he found out police were coming but was not successful," according to a police report.
Stoner is charged with sexual battery and public intoxication. He is free on a $6,000 bond.
