Nashville Police: 3 Teens Arrested After High-Speed, Cross-County Crime Spree, Joyride
Three teenagers wanted for a La Vergne carjacking and a Donelson robbery were spotted getting gas and arrested after a pursuit.

NASHVILLE, TN — After a two-county crime spree and a high-speed pursuit, three teenagers were arrested after running over spike strips on Interstate 40 early Thursday, according to Metro Police.
An officer spotted the group getting gas at a station on Vultee Boulevard and noticed they matched the description of a trio suspected of carjacking a Nissan Altima in La Vergne and of holding up a cab driver at gunpoint in Donelson on Wednesday.
Around 2:15 Thursday morning, Metro Police tried to stop the suspects near I-40's intersection with Briley Parkway, leading to a chase during which speeds exceeded 100 mph. Spike strips were deployed near Old Hickory Boulevard and the teens were arrested and charged. Police say a long gun was inside the car.
