Nashville Police Charge 32 After 3-Day Undercover Drug Bust
Dozens busted and drugs of all kinds were seized after a West Precinct operation.

NASHVILLE, TN — A three-day undercover operation on 40th Avenue North resulted in 32 people charged with a bevy of drug-related crimes.
Metro Police detectives working undercover investigated drug sales from the apartment of Sherl "Shed" Cox, 53, and Demarcus Terrell, 26. At the end of the operation, police seized heroin, marijuana, cocaine, prescription pills, five cell phones, electronics and Cox's SUV.
Police say the undercover officers conducted drug buys and saw dozens of drug sales.

Cox is charged with felony drug possession with intent to distribute, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and cocaine possession in a drug-free zone. She is free on $27,500 bond. At the time of his arrest, Terrell was free on $10,000 bond for sale of cocaine. He is again charged with felony cocaine possession and is free on bond.
Investigators say they also determined drug paraphernalia was being sold at One Stop Market at 626 40th Avenue North. Police seized three boxes of glass pipes, two boxes of screen metal, two pistols, and $2,967 cash from the market and charged the owners Jehad Harb, 48, and Nael Harb, 24, with manufacturing drug paraphernalia. They are both free on bond.

Three other people were also charged with felony drug possession in connection to the alleged apartment-related illegal drug activities: Doral Newsom, 46, Annie Newsom, 67, and Joann Leflore, 28.
