Nashville Police Say They Have Strong Leads In Fatal Shooting Of Man Outside Market

Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing strong leads as they work to apprehend the man who fatally shot Jashaun Cane-Germane, 24, outside a market at the intersection of Lafayette Street and Fairfield Avenue at 8 a.m. today.

The investigation shows that the men engaged in an argument inside the store. The dispute continued after both men exited, resulting in Cane-Germane being shot. He was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center and died shortly after arrival. The shooter fled the scene in a white car.
