Nashville Police Seek Dodge Charger Connected To Robbery

A Dodge Charger and a second, older car were seen near where a 66-year-old man was brazenly robbed Friday morning.

NASHVILLE, TN — Metro Police are on the lookout for a red Dodge Charger suspected in connection with the robbery of a 66-year-old man at his Second Avenue home Friday morning. A surveillance system at a neighbor's home captured images of the Charger and an older model car, also potentially connected to the brazen home invasion.

The man told police he walked out of his house around 10 a.m. Friday when he saw two dark cars and two men approaching. Those men, he told police, forced him back inside his home at gunpoint.

The suspects apparently demanded money and beat the man with their weapons, he told police. Eventually, they broke into a small safe containing cash and a small amount of marijuana. They handcuffed the victim and pushed him to the floor before fleeing.

The man told police he managed to work his way back to his feet and out the door. A neighbor saw him on the lawn around 1 p.m., three hours after the initial attack.
