Nashville School Board Member: Donald Trump is 'Cheeto Satan,' 'Squirrelwig McRacistpants'
Metro school board member Christiane Bugg tweeted a dozen colorful nicknames for President Donald Trump.

NASHVILLE, TN — In the hours leading up to the inauguration of President Donald Trump, a Nashville school board member provided her Twitter followers with a dozen often-colorful nicknames for the White House's new occupant.
Christiane Bugg, whose District 5 stretches from Sylvan Heights to the Near East Side and encompasses parts of North Nashville, downtown and South Nashville along the way, said she had heard several "names for DT" that she "will adopt" herself:

In a statement sent to WKRN, Buggs defended her tweets, saying she "must speak for the communities who woke up today fearful for the future of our country.”

“Many of us are approaching the inauguration with humor or satire, but also determination to stand up against the campaign promises that threaten the very fabric of our democracy. Now that he has taken his oath, we can only pray that he will use his presidency to unite rather than divide and make a break from his commitment to ostracize subgroups," Buggs' statement continued.
