Nashville Shoe Store Shooting Kills 1, Injures 2

One person was killed when a group he fired upon fired back, according to Nashville police.

NASHVILLE, TN — One person was killed and two others wounded in a shooting outside of a Bordeaux shoe store late Thursday.

According to Metro Police, a group of people were hanging out in front of the Hot Kicks on Clarksville Pike when a car drove up and began shooting into the crowd. Investigators say one person in the group fired back as the rest scattered.

First responders found one man in critical condition in the parking lot and he later died at the hospital. A short time later, two other people — one in critical condition — arrived at the Centennial Medical Center emergency room.

Initial indications are that the man who was killed and the two who were injured were in the group who drove up and started the shootout.
