Nashville St. Patrick's Day Sobriety Checkpoint Set
Find out where Metro Police will be conducting holiday DUI checkpoints.
NASHVILLE, TN — Metro police officers will opening a sobriety checkpoint on 8th Avenue just south of downtown late Friday night into Saturday morning.
The checkpoint will be staffed by the DUI Unit along with extra-duty officers working through a grant from the Governor’s Highway Safety Office.
In addition, officers throughout the city will be closely watching for impaired and/or aggressive motorists.
