Nashville Weather Forecast: Rainy and Warm for the Long MLK Day Weekend

Nashville will have unseasonably warm temperatures and rain chances throughout the three-day weekend.

NASHVILLE, TN — Another warm and wet weekend is ahead, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Patchy fog will be a factor most mornings, giving way to showers and warm days.

Friday night: A 30 percent chance of showers with patchy fog, primarily before 7 p.m. Fog returns after 1 a.m. Otherwise cloudy, low of 46.

Saturday: Fog before 7 a.m., then a 40 percent of showers, otherwise cloudy and warm, high of 60. A 40 percent chance of showers overnight, otherwise cloudy with fog developing after 1 a.m. Low of 46.

Sunday: Patchy fog, then cloudy, with a 40 percent chance of showers after 1 p.m., high of 55. A 20 percent chance of showers in the evening, primarily before 7 p.m., with a low of 50.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day: Mostly cloudy and warm, with a 20 percent chance of showers after 7 a.m., high of 69. Mostly cloudy after dark, with a 50 percent chance of showers after 7 p.m. with a low of 57. Winds of 10 to 15 gusting to 20 m.p.h.
