Nashville Week-Ahead Weather: Rain...and Maybe Snow?
Will the precipitation stick around in Nashville long enough to mix with cold air?

NASHVILLE, TN — A largely wet start to the week turns cold and then, perhaps, snow moves in, according to the National Weather Service forecast for Nashville. Forecasters are iffy on Wednesday night and Thursday's snow chances as cold air moves in as precipitation moves out, but either way, things get much colder late in the week.
Monday: A 50 percent chance of rain, particularly after 1 p.m., otherwise cloudy, a high of 50. A 90 percent chance of showers overnight, with perhaps a thunderstorm after 7 p.m., low of 49.
Tuesday: A 90 percent chance of showers, with perhaps a storm before 7 a.m., with a high of 56. A mostly cloudy night with a 20 percent chance of showers before 7 p.m. and a low of 38.

Wednesday: Mostly cloudy, high of 47. A 40 percent chance of rain, possibly mixing with snow after 1 a.m., a low of 30.
Thursday: A 40 percent chance of rain and snow, particularly before 7 a.m., then partly sunny and colder, high of 36. A partly cloudy and much colder evening, low of 19.

Friday: Mostly sunny with a high of 34. Partly cloudy overnight, low of 22.
