Nashville Woman Dies In Monday Morning Single-Car Crash On I-24 Near Haywood Lane

The woman killed in this morning’s single-car crash on I-24 east near the Haywood Lane exit is identified as Kaitlyn Cash, 26, of Nashville.

The investigation shows that Cash was driving at a high rate of speed on the left shoulder of the interstate when she sideswiped another vehicle and hit the concrete median wall at 8:35 a.m. She then crossed over all four traffic lanes and crashed into a rock embankment.

No other motorists were injured.
