Nashville Woman Drowns At Center Hill Lake
The body of a 35-year-old Nashville woman was recovered from Center Hill Lake after a six-hour search Sunday.

SILVER POINT, TN — Divers recovered the body of a 35-year-old Nashville woman who drowned in Center Hill Lake Sunday. The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency reported that Aimee McCray's body was discovered by searchers from Dekalb County and Putnam County rescue squads and the Dekalb County Sheriff's Office Sunday afternoon.
McCray had been staying with friends on a houseboat near Hurricane Marina on Center Hill Lake over the weekend. Early Sunday, her friends were unable to locate her and after a brief search reported her missing around 9:30 a.m..

Her body was found near a dock at 3:20 Sunday afternoon.
