New Pre-Owned Apple® Device Business Experimac Comes To Madison

New tech concept will serve the greater Nashville area

On August 22, Les Clendenin will begin leveraging his 18 years in service and saled to Experimac, the new concept that provides pre-owned computers and devices; repair and upgrade services for laptops, phones and tablets; trade-ins of existing devices; and sales of accessories, to Madison. Located at 1720 Gallatin Pk. Space 8H, Clendenin is bringing the newest concept from industry veteran United Franchise Group to serve customers throughout Northeast Nashville by providing popular Apple® devices at prices far below retail prices.

Prior to owning his own business, Clendenin spent 18 years working for UniFirst, a national uniform company, in both service and sales. Last July, Clendenin and his four children were hit with tragedy and he knew it was time to switch gears and build a new life for his family. “UniFirst was a great company to work for but I needed a new challenge,” said Clendenin.

“After learning about Experimac I came away convinced that it was going to be the next big thing in computers,” said Clendenin. “The more I learned about Experimac, the more excited I became. I knew this was the challenge that I needed, I was excited to start my new adventure.”

The newest addition to the United Franchise Group, a family of brands that includes industry standouts such as Signarama, EmbroidMe and SuperGreen Solutions, Experimac is backed by a reputation of business success. This, said Clendenin, gave him confidence in the concept as a viable career choice.

“After 18 years in the corporate world I knew it was time for an exhilarating change and new career path,” said Clendenin. “I am a homegrown part of the Goodlettsville community and am excited to give back with this new business. My grandfather opened the local Clendenin BI- Rite in 1946 and ran it for 30 years and I am confident I will be able to follow in his successful footsteps.”
