A popular restaurant plans to open a second location in Sylvan Station.

NASHVILLE, TN — A popular pizza joint in East Nashville is planning to open a second location next year in the booming Charlotte Avenue corridor, according to media reports

Five Points Pizza, known for its New York-style pies, has reserved space in the Sylvan Station mixed-use development at 4100 Charlotte Ave., the Nashville Eater blog reported Tuesday. The new restaurant will take up about 4,600 square feet of space with a larger dining room, an outdoor patio and a separate counter for large orders and carry-out.

The new Five Points Pizza will join several other eateries that have opened in recent months on Charlotte Avenue, The Nashville Tennessean reports. Those restaurants include Double Dogs sports bar, Salt & Vine, Urban Juicer and Farm Burger, as well as Flip Burger Boutique, at the corner of Charlotte and 42nd avenues.
