Nick Saban Driving Into Nashville: Report

NASHVILLE, TN — A Mercedes-Benz dealership co-owned by University of Alabama football coach Nick Saban is slated for a summer opening, according to The Tennessean.

The newspaper reports that the Board of Zoning Appeals gave the OK for a variance for signage and setback requirements for the dealership on Envious Lane near Briley Parkway's intersection with Interstate 40 east of downtown near the airport.

Saban owns 50 percent of the dealership (his stake in the dealership is half of his combined winning percentage against Tennessee and Vanderbilt during his Alabama tenure, including 10-0 against the Volunteers). The other half of the dealership is held by Joe Agresti.

The 50,000 square foot dealership will be the second Mercedes dealership in Nashville and the third co-owned by Agresti and Saban, who are already partners in a Birmingham Mercedes dealership and an Infiniti dealership in neighboring Hoover, according to The Tennessean.
