North Nashville Bikeway Progress Update

The following are some high points of North Nashville Bikeway Progress:

Work accomplished 5/2/20 – 5/8/20:

• Marking Impressions continued work on Buchanan and Garfield.
• Detectable warnings installed as specified in plans on Buchanan, Garfield, and DB Todd.
• Tuff Curbs on Arthur completed.
• Permanent Signs installed on Buchanan & Garfield.
• PRI placed topsoil behind concrete work on DB Todd at Underwood and Wheless.
• Stansell completed prep work for ped signals on Buchanan and Garfield.

Two-Week look ahead:

• Striping work is planned to continue on Buchanan and Garfield and may complete next week.
• Stansell to set ped poles on Ed Temple, Buchanan, and Garfield.
• Vulcan to install delineators on Buchanan / Garfield.
• Stansell to excavate and pour ped pole footing on DB Todd at Jo Johnston.
• PRI to place sod behind concrete work on DB Todd at Underwood and Wheless.
• Marking Impressions to lay out new pattern on DB Todd and then begin line removal and new pattern install.
• Coordination with Google Fiber for relocation work on Monroe St.
