North Nashville Liquor Store Security Guard Shot In Robbery Bid
The security guard at Jefferson Street's R&R Liquors exchanged gunfire with a man attempting to rob the package store.
NASHVILLE, TN — A security guard at a Jefferson Street liquor store traded gunfire with a would-be robber Friday.
The security guard at R&R Liquors is recovering after he was shot in the arm around 10 p.m. Thursday night by a man attempting to rob the store. He returned fire, but the suspect fled. Metro Police brought in the K-9 unit but were unsuccessful in locating the thief. It is unknown if he is injured.
