Officers Working Downtown To Ensure Compliance With Mandatory Mask Order

The day shift (9 a.m.-5 p.m.) officers on Broadway working to ensure compliance with the Health Department’s mandatory mask order issued 0 citations, gave 170 verbal warnings & handed out 37 educational forms. Many of those the officers met were tourists who were unaware of the mandatory mask order.

The MNPD urges all residents and visitors to help reduce the spread of COVID-19 by wearing face coverings, maintaining social distancing, and frequently washing/sanitizing hands.
