Parolee Arrested For Firing Shots At Nashville Apartment Where Birthday Party Was Being Held
Joshua Starling, 40, is charged with eight counts of felony aggravated assault.
Detectives from the MNPD’s TITANS (The Investigative Team Addressing Neighborhood Shootings) Unit, joined by West Precinct detectives, late this afternoon arrested parolee Joshua Starling, 40, on 8 counts of felony aggravated assault for firing shots at a Susannah Court apartment where a birthday party was taking place on April 16th.

The investigation showed that the shots resulted from a dispute Starling had with one of the attendees at the birthday party. Fortunately, no one was hit by the gunfire, although bullets did lodge into the apartment building.
This case will be reviewed for potential federal prosecution in that Starling is alleged to have been armed as a convicted drug felon on parole.
