Pedestrian Lying In Road Killed In Charlotte Avenue Hit & Run
An apparently drunk woman died after being hit by a car while lying on Charlotte Avenue early Saturday.
NASHVILLE, TN — A Sparta woman lying on Charlotte Avenue and believed to be intoxicated died after a hit and run early Saturday.
Kayla D. Anderson, 29, was at the Shell market in the 2000 block of Charlotte shortly after 3:30 Saturday morning. She walked away from her friend and lied down in the roadway. A witness heard tires sequel and a woman scream, according to police.

Anderson was taken to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where she died.
