Pedestrian Struck And Killed Wednesday Night On North Graycroft Avenue Identified

The pedestrian struck and killed Wednesday at 10 p.m. at the intersection of Nesbitt Lane and N Graycroft Avenue is identified as Danielle Decesare, 26.

The preliminary investigation shows that Decesare was walking east on Nesbitt Lane when she entered the intersection and was struck by the driver of a Saturn Ion, Charles Neely, 46, who was traveling south on N Graycroft. There is no crosswalk at the intersection and no traffic controls on N Graycroft.

Neely reported that he did not see Decesare, who lived nearby, prior to the collision. There was no evidence of drug or alcohol involvement at the scene.
