Puckett's Owners Plan Restaurant in L&C Tower Downtown
"New South" eatery is slated for a 2017 opening.
NASHVILLE, TN — Acclaimed local restaurant group A. Marshall Family Foods is planning a new eatery in downtown's L&C Tower.
According to a press release, the company, which operates 11 restaurants, including the iconic Puckett's Grocery, will open the "new South" concept in mid-2017. Patrons will enter via Church Street and the space will include a patio wrapping around the building's second floor.
The restaurant is the latest upgrade to the L&C, a 30-story, 272,000-square-foot tower regarded as the city's first skyscraper. It was purchased by a California investment firm in 2015 for nearly $30 million.
