Rex And Rob Ryan Smash Car Before Stanley Cup Final, Get In Apparent Bar Altercation
Former NFL coaches Rex and Rob Ryan had an apparently wild time in Nashville over the weekend.
NASHVILLE, TN — Nashville was at its spirited best this weekend, with crowds and parties and general revelry and elation surrounding the Predators victory over the Pittsburgh Penguins in Saturday's Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final. As has been the case during much of the run through the playoffs, famous faces were on hand with costumed catfish and other assorted oddities.
Former NFL coach Rex Ryan has become something of a familiar face around the team, frequently attending games since he relocated to the area. Brother Rob — also a former coach — joined him Saturday and they had a big time swinging the hammer at the traditional Smash Car — a donated car festooned in the opposing team's livery to which Preds fans can deliver blows in exchange for a charity donation — on the Bridgestone Arena Plaza before the game. Sunday, it wasn't a car that caught the Brothers Ryan's attention. It was another patron at the Broadway location of Margaritaville.

The video appears to show a man push Rex Ryan — the former New York Jets and Buffalo Bills coach is an avid jersey collector and in this case is wearing a Bryce Harper Washington Nationals' road jersey — and then Rob, in the Clemson t-shirt, comes to his brothers defense, before other patrons broke up the brief scuffle.
No arrests were made, nor police reports filed, but a special commendation is due the waitress committed to getting the margarita to the table in the midst of the shoving.
