Marijuana, Pot-Laced Food Mailed To East Nashville Men: Police
Metro Police arrested two men in East Nashville after they allegedly received a package with 13 pounds of pot and various "edibles."
EAST NASHVILLE, TN — Two recent arrivals from California received some mail and then a visit from police in East Nashville Tuesday.
Metro Police arrested Nicholas McGoldrick, 36, and Jamar Seay, 35, at a home on Sumner Avenue, where they'd recently relocated from the Golden State, after the pair were allegedly mailed a package containing a bevy of drugs. Investigators said a package mailed to the home contained 13 pounds of marijuana. A search of the home resulted in the discovery of a variety of "edibles" — in this case both brownies and Rice Krispies treats made with marijuana or laced with THC, two pistols and nearly $1,500 in cash, according to police.

Both men are charged with possession of marijuana for resale and possession of drug paraphernalia, while McGoldrick faces an additional charge of felony gun possession.
