Stanley Cup Final: Alan Jackson To Play Pre-Game Concert Saturday

Country music legend Alan Jackson will play a free pre-game concert on Broadway Saturday before Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final.

NASHVILLE, TN — It's not every day a Country Music Hall of Fame inductee and certified legend plays a free concert on Broadway, but it's not every day a city hosts its first-ever major professional sports championship, either.

Country legend Alan Jackson will play a free concert at the Broadway Smash party before Game 3 of the Stanley Cup Final Saturday. The party begins at 3:30 with Jackson scheduled to perform at 4:45 p.m. at the stage at Fifth and Broadway. Broadway will be closed between Fifth and Third ahead of the 7 p.m. puck drop at Bridgestone Arena for Game 3 between the Nashville Predators and Pittsburgh Penguins. Jackson, along with fellow singer Jerry Reed and songwriter Don Schlitz, will be inducted in the Hall of Fame later this year.
