Stanley Cup Final: Nashville Predators Limit Plaza Party For Game 4; Broadway Parties Stay Wide Open, Ascend To Host Viewing

The Nashville Predators will give away 200 wristbands for the watch party on the Bridgestone Arena plaza starting at noon Monday.

NASHVILLE, TN — To alleviate crowding concerns after an overwhelming response during Game 3, the Nashville Predators will be limiting the number of people on the Bridgestone Arena plaza for the Game 4 watch party, the team announced Wednesday morning.

Due to overcrowding, the plaza was cleared before being re-opened Saturday. To avoid that situation, the Predators are handing out 200 wristbands for the plaza starting at noon Wednesday and only those with wristbands or tickets will be permitted on the plaza. The parties along Broadway will continue as usual and Mayor Megan Barry announced Ascend Amphitheater will open at 6 p.m. for a free watch party. "In order to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all our patrons both watching inside Bridgestone Arena, and participating in the plaza celebration, the Nashville Predators will issue 200 wristbands starting at noon to those wishing to enjoy Game Four’s festivities on the plaza. Starting at 3:00 p.m., only those fans with game tickets or wristbands will be able to partake. If you are unable to secure a ticket or a plaza wristband, be sure to join one of the viewing parties along Broadway – and check @PredsNHL for additional parties," the team said in a statement.
