Tennessee Comptroller's Web Site Hacked, Image Of Kim Jong-Un Posted

The web site of the Tennessee Comptroller showed an image proclaiming President Trump "an idiot" and North Korea's dictator "a wise man."

NASHVILLE, TN — The web site of Tennessee's Comptroller was hacked Friday, briefly displaying a message supporting North Korean dictator Kim Jong-Un, proclaiming him a "wise man who is not afraid of anyone."

A message from the hacker group the Moroccan Islamic Union-Mail was posted on the comptroller's site for about 30 minutes Friday morning before the IT department noticed and took the site down. It was back online, in correct form, shortly before 7 p.m. Friday. "The time of the monopoly of nuclear weapons is over. If North Korea is bombed, Washington will be bombed too," the message read. "It is stupid for America to be ruled by an idiot like Trump and remember the North Korean It is ruled by Kim, the wise man who is not afraid of anyone."

The Tennessee Comptroller's office audits state and local governments and has oversight functions; it is not responsible for decisions regarding the deployment of nuclear weapons.

The comptroller's office said state and federal authorities are investigating the incident.
